Hi everyone,
Hope you are doing great and had a radical start to the year so far!
We are hard at work on book production right now, razor-focused (see what I did there)! We thought about something that would give you full transparency and an easy way to share our progress in real time. We created an accessible Work In Progress tracker that all backers can access, and we will update it as we go, including detailed information about our internal deadlines and workflow in the notes section! 😸✅
Also, please check your Kickstarter direct message. We sent a gift to EVERY backer earlier this month to thank you for the fantastic end-of-2025/new-year celebration. A full book, for FREE! 31 years ago, the Tremblay Bros. made a book titled "Making of an Animated TV Show" for an elementary school presentation and gave it to all students. Christian scanned his archive copy so we can share the PDF with you all. YOUR DIGITAL COPY IS IN YOUR KICKSTARTER DIRECT MESSAGES!!! 😸🎁
Back to the comic... here's a sneak peek! Multiple backers asked whether two specific characters were in the comic book... here's the answer:
BACKERKIT: Keep an eye out for the next updates. We will send the BackerKit survey very soon. We are making sure everything is perfect before sending it, as even a small mistake can become big at the scale of a Kickstarter campaign like this one. There are many different items for a giant-sized Radical Squadron (you) located around the globe. We want to be sure that every step is done right and the process goes smoothly for everyone. Once you receive the BackerKit survey, you will be able to add items you missed during the Kickstarter, select your T-shirt and shoes sizes, and enter your shipping address (which will be debited right before we ship your rewards).
Thank you so much for your support. We hope you like our Work in Progress Tracker sheet idea. We will try to find more innovative ways to communicate and involve you in the process as much as possible! We are thrilled and thankful for what you made possible. 2026 is going to be RADICAL in every possible way. The Swat Kats are getting ready for takeoff!
Best,

Hey Everyone,
I hope you are doing well!
I just wanted to give a quick update on our production status. We have completed the pencil for ALL the pages of the comic book. Jorge is currently inking while we work on making the dialogue as tight as possible! We are on track for Sarah (colors) and Serge (Lettering) to jump on doing the colors and lettering for the rest of the book right after the holiday break.
(I did blur to not spoil anything)... We can wait for you to see the pages. I truly believe that this is some of the best work of Jorge Corona's career (a big thing to say considering that he just did the best work of his career on Transformers). You can tell in every panel that he is a fan of Swat Kats and cares about this revival; these pages are made with passion and love for the characters and universe!
Alright, here's one ''unblur'' sneak peek!
For backers that did back the ''Be A Kat'' tiers: We will be sending an email in the first week of January to get your reference. At the moment, Jorge completed the scene that you are part of, but kept your spot empty until we have your references. Keep an eye out for our email in the next week or so! We are soooo excited to make you part of the Swat Kats Universe!
When will the BackerKit open?
Many of you have asked about it. We plan to open it in January since BackerKit is not only our pledge manager collecting the shipping cost and your address, but also a second chance to add items to your package, which is why we didn't want to send it during the holidays. We will wait for everyone to come back from the holidays and be sure that there is time between the fund collection from Kickstarter and this second chance. We are conscious that our campaign was packed with items and could be easily overwhelming. Let's take some time off from our crazy jet ride!
Thank you so much for your continuing support, we have no word!! We are really happy with how the book is coming together. The whole team is giving their best work. We can't wait to share it with you in 2026!!
----
Friendly shoutout: Our fulfilment partner ZOOP currently has an AWESOME campaign for a Mega Man book in the final hours! There's plenty of radical goodies. If you love Mega Man as much as I do! Check this out, it is pretty EPIC: https://zoop.gg/c/megamanadventures
PS: Keep an eye out for our next update and your Kickstarter inbox, we will have a Christmas gift for all backers! :) Next week gonna be a Radical X-MAS!

SWAT KATS is Officially The Biggest single issue comic book Kickstarter campaing of ALL TIME!!!
– Fri, Dec 05, 2025 at 10:03:06 AM
Hey backers,
We just got a RADICAL confirmation from Kickstarter!! YOU raised an impressive $730,672. This set a new record as the biggest Kickstarter campaign of ALL TIME for a single-issue comic book. Kickstarter officials confirmed the achievement, surpassing the previous record held by Coffin Comics, which raised $532,722 from 3,418 backers for All New Lady Death: Necrotic Genesis #1.
Here's a little message from Kickstarter about it:
“It’s always a treat to see a well loved property not only get a second life on Kickstarter but to break a record at that! Kevin, Jorge, Tremblay Bros., and the entire team behind Swat Kats did an amazing job with this campaign and we’re excited to see what else they come up with.” – Sam Kusek, Senior Comics Outreach Lead at Kickstarter.
Because of YOU! Swat Kats’ debut in comics couldn’t start on a stronger note, and it’s already on track to be one of the biggest series of 2026.
From the Tremblay Bros:
‘’After 32 years, we are deeply grateful to the fans who continue to show such love for Swat Kats. They achieved the unimaginable with this campaign and demonstrated to the world that Swat Kats remains alive and stronger than ever. It’s their record, and we will make sure to reward them for it!’’ – Tremblay Bros., Creators of Swat Kats.
RECORD HOLDER CERTIFICATE FOR ALL BACKERS!
To celebrate this fantastic news, we will give to all backers a Record Holder Certificate. YOU made this happen, you should have your certificate! We will design something pretty under Kickstarter approval, so we can all put something beautiful on our wall! We will share with you when the design is complete.
Creating a project like this with the fans is incredibly exciting. I am deeply grateful to the Tremblay Bros. for taking the risk and trusting me with this unique release strategy. This project had to be driven by the fans, with some of the best comic creators in the game, to give Swat Kats the comics it deserved. This is the outcome when you make a product WITH its fanbase and not FOR its fanbase. This will remain Roditeli Productions’ approach!
I sincerely thank you for that. Let me share with you some Work In progress to celebrate!
YES, THE VILLAINS ARE COOKING!!!
These are just Rough pencil drawings by Jorge Corona, not even inked yet. We can't imagine how badass this gonna look once it is inked and coloured!
PLEASE VERIFY THAT YOUR PLEDGE PAYMENT DID GO THROUGH TODAY!
If Kickstarter wasn’t able to collect the payment for your pledge. If it's not resolved by TOMORROW, unfortunately, you will miss out on your Kickstarter exclusive items and your backer status (credit in the book / Motion Comic + Backer Goodies). Please check your payment details when you get a chance. Thank you so much, and let us know if you need any additional help!
What to do to correct it:
Log in to Kickstarter: Go to your account and look for a banner or button to "Fix payment".
Update your payment information: You may need to enter a different card or update the details of your current one.
Check with your bank: If the payment still fails, contact your bank or card issuer directly. They may have flagged the transaction as fraudulent and can provide guidance on how to approve it.
Try the desktop site: If you are using the app, try logging in on a web browser to fix the payment, as this may resolve the issue.
Don't delay: You have until December 6 2pm ET / 11am PT to fix the payment. If you don't, your pledge will be dropped.
If you’re still experiencing issues, feel free to send us a direct message. We’ll be happy to help you. Ensuring everyone receives their rewards is a priority for us, and every dollar is vital for the future of Swat Kats, as we reinvest all profits into the Swat Kats production and future plans to keep the franchise comeback going.
Thank you so much for your support. It does mean the world to us!

IT'S A WRAP! YOU DID IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone,
BINGO!!! Thank you so much for the crazy support. You are truly, and I mean it, the best community I have ever seen, and I couldn't be more proud to be part of this journey. We launched this project with a $40,000 goal, I repeat, $40,000, and you went up to destroy a $700,000 stretch goal! That's LEGENDARY.
We won't take a break. This is the beginning of a bigger picture of what you accomplished: his launching of Swat Kats into the world of comics to a level we could even imagine. The future is bright for the Radical Squadron! From now on, we will keep you regularly posted on creative work in progress and production/manufacturing updates until the end of the fulfillment process.
THANK YOU!!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!!

We are less than $20k away from the final stretch goal! MAX Motion Comic Production!
– Sat, Nov 29, 2025 at 06:51:22 AM
Hey Backers,
What a solid final! We are so close to busting the FINAL stretch goal to bring the motion comic to the best production possible. Yesterday, we unlocked the $650,000 stretch goal, which increased the number of characters' poses to make it feel more alive and added the production team member Fearghas Hilton (Marvel & DC Comics composer). The motion comic will have a music score!
The $700,000 stretch goal will let us fund a major upgrade to the motion comic. StudioNX will animate the characters' mouths. This will bring our motion comics closer to an animated experience.
Why does it matter?
The success of the comic book was a key factor in attracting more eyes and excitement to the Swat Kats comeback, but the motion comic takes it to another level. As you can imagine, this is as close as we can get to animation (without being an animation). It's gonna make the world say, "Hell yes, we need this TV show!" aka the most important thing that needs to happen for the Swat Kats to potentially fly high for years to come in show, Film, Comics, toys, and more.
LAST MINUTE ITEM! NOW IN ADD-ONS - SIGNED COMIC!
We just added an item to help us get across the $700,000 mark. Swat Kats #1 with a printed pencil cover showcasing the Swat Kats, Callie, and all the main villains from the TV Show. The comic variant will come signed by Christian Tremblay.
You can now add it to your add-ons!
If you add this item before the campaign ends, you will save $10 on it! We will offer it again on BackerKit, but it will be listed at its planned pricing. This cover was supposed to debut on Backerkit, but we want to maximize our chances of reaching the $700k Mark!
ITEM NAME: SIGNED Swat Kats #1 Christian Tremblay
LET'S DO IT!
----
P.S.: In addition to the stretch goal, let me add that I will get a Swat Kats tattoo if we reach $700,000, and you will choose what I'm getting; my destiny is in your hands (will pre-select 4 and you VOTE). - Kevin Roditeli
You will be able to vote for it, and I will be getting the tattoo live on Instagram!
Thanks for your support! Happy final day!
